2. Scope and applicable law

This privacy policy explains what personal data is collected and how it is processed when you visit lxrin.tech. As the controller is based in Switzerland, processing is governed primarily by the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP / nDSG). Where visitors access this site from the European Union or European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is taken into account as well.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted and delivered via Cloudflare's network (Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, USA, with infrastructure operated worldwide, including within the EU/Switzerland). When you access the site, Cloudflare automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and version, the page you came from, and the date and time of access ("server log data"). This is required to deliver the website reliably and to protect it against abuse and attacks, and is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest in operating a stable and secure website (Art. 31 para. 1 revFADP; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA, Cloudflare provides appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses). For details, see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

4. Contact form

If you get in touch via the form on the contact page, the data you enter — your name, email address, optional subject, and message — is sent to a Cloudflare Worker and used solely to process and reply to your request. From there it is forwarded to Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), the email delivery service used to send me a notification and to send you an automatic confirmation. The submitted data is not stored in a database; it only continues to exist as part of the resulting email correspondence.

Legal basis: processing is necessary to respond to your request, i.e. to take steps prior to, or in performance of, an agreement (Art. 31 para. 2 lit. a revFADP; Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and rests on the fact that you voluntarily submitted the form.

Retention: messages and any related correspondence are kept only for as long as necessary to handle your request and any follow-up, and are deleted afterwards unless a statutory retention obligation requires otherwise.

5. Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect the contact form from automated submissions, this website uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a CAPTCHA alternative provided by Cloudflare, Inc. Turnstile evaluates technical signals from your browser and device — such as your IP address — to distinguish humans from bots, usually without showing you an interactive challenge. This is based on a legitimate interest in protecting the website and its users from spam and abuse (Art. 31 para. 1 revFADP; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). 6. Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website does not use cookies, web analytics, advertising trackers, or any other third-party tracking technologies. No visitor profiles are created and no behavioural data is collected for marketing purposes. The typeface used on this site (Switzer) is hosted locally rather than loaded from external font services such as Google Fonts, so no data is transmitted to third parties for that purpose either.

7. Your rights

Subject to the applicable law (revFADP and, where relevant, GDPR), you have the right to:

  • request information about whether, and which, personal data concerning you is processed;
  • request correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data;
  • request erasure or restriction of the processing of your data;
  • object to processing carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest; and
  • where applicable, request that your data be provided in a portable format.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates applicable data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB, edoeb.admin.ch), or, if you are located in the EU/EEA, the data protection authority of your country of residence.
